Habits and Rituals
With "Habits and Rituals" set as the theme, I chose to work around the ritual of storytelling at social gatherings.
Various scenarios were explored where such conversations could take place, with the two in focus being stories exchanged over a meal or around a campfire. Possible ideas for both scenarios were worked and the final solution was in the direction of the campfire.
Different cultures and their rituals were explored
Western and eastern cultures and traditions were researched to find new areas of intervention. In order to create a product that masses could relate to, I chose to go ahead with the ancient tradition of humans gathering around a warm fire at night.
Types of heaters and their attributes
Infrared heaters were the perfect fit since the heating elements emit a warm glow in addition to the heat they generate. The heating cylindrical heating elements can be viewed as logs that are alight.

Bono takes the experience of sitting around a campfire and makes it more accessible. You do not need the space or the weather conditions for a typical campfire night since Bono provides 360° heating, simulating the effect of a fire but powered by electricity.
Now you can enjoy an experience similar to camping outdoors under a starry night, in the comfort of your home on a cold rainy day. Bono makes boring nights fun by bringing people together, providing warmth, and creating an environment to share stories and be closer to loved ones.

Consistent heating all around
Quartz heating elements and an inner reflective surface provide optimum heating output. The heating elements have been set up to look like burning logs in a fireplace. This arrangement provides 360° warmth just like a campfire.
Provides three stages of heating and three timer levels. Slide left to disable and right to enable.
A star projector completes the outdoor camping experience
The star projector on the top projects a clear, starry night sky when you are indoors. Handles are provided at the top to help move the heater around easily when not turned on.
Bono is comparable in size to a small campfire, perfect for small groups.
